Roles & Responsibilities
To adhere to delegation of authority in providing litigation services to the company (Giving commitments on behalf of the company).
To collaborate with related Legal Contracts teams and advise on preparing legal Contracts such that they provide maximum benefits for the company and avoid any future disputes, if required.
To coordinate existing and potential litigation and commercial disputes and ensure they are resolved/addressed.
To review the assigned Summons & Complaint against the company, initiate contact with the plaintiff/plaintiff's attorney, and gather material facts regarding the allegations.
To classify all related documents in Litigation Data Bases, ensure proper documentation and archiving are in place for all assigned cases and the associated correspondences/ transactions, and update information systems and the related reports.
To prepare the draft of the statement of defense for the claims filed against MTNIrancell, presenting advisory comments and/or advocacy of claims before judicial and administrative authorities.
To provide responses/ explanations to inquiries concerning the files submitted to judicial and supervisory authorities and take necessary actions.
To act as a negotiator in negotiation meetings to settle possible disputes.
To attend the court and other judicial and administrative authorities’ meetings (in entire country) as a representative or lawyer of the Company to defend company rights against claimants or to file court cases as ordered by management.
To prepare monthly/weekly management reports as per manager request and guidance.
