| The Operational Manager leads three supervisors—Missed & Damaged, Coordination, and Warehouse—to ensure smooth, end-to-end logistics operations. Key responsibilities include: Team Leadership: Coaching supervisors and their teams, setting clear targets, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Process Optimization: Streamlining warehouse workflows (receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping), returns handling, and damage/loss mitigation; defining KPIs (inventory accuracy, return processing time, loss rates, and on-time shipments). Inventory & Quality Control: Monitoring stock levels, coordinating cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring returned items are processed and restocked per policy. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborating with Planning, Finance, Procurement, Fleet, HR, and Maintenance to resolve bottlenecks, forecast demand, and ensure service-level agreements are maintained. Safety & Compliance: Enforcing SOPs, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and safety standards. Continuous Improvement & Cost Control: Leading Lean/Kaizen initiatives to eliminate waste, tracking budgets, and proposing cost-saving measures without sacrificing service quality; championing technology enhancements (ERP/WMS, bar-coding, automation). Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field. ≥7 years in logistics/operations (≥3 years managing multiple functions). Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and Excel; strong data analysis and reporting skills. Knowledge of Lean methodologies, safety regulations, and process improvement tools. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skill |
