Job Description
Azkivam is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Network Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure, including network systems, hardware, and software. You will work closely with internal teams to provide technical support and manage day-to-day operations of the organization’s network and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, install, and maintain hardware and software systems, including Windows OS, drivers, printers, and scanners.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and network systems for employees.
Set up and manage user accounts, email systems, file sharing, and internet services.
Monitor and maintain company-wide IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization (ESXi), and storage systems (QNAP/NAS).
Administer network components such as Cisco switches (2k & 9k), Fortigate firewalls, Unifi access points, and HP Access Points.
Manage Microsoft services: Active Directory, Exchange Server, Group Policy, File Server, and Permission Management.
Ensure proper documentation and version control of all IT processes and configurations.
Provide technical support to developers and other internal teams as needed.
Support and maintain VOIP and communication systems (GrandStream).
Monitor infrastructure performance, detect potential issues, and take corrective actions.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and assets.
Develop backup and disaster recovery plans (using Veeam and other tools).
Create monitoring systems for all infrastructure services and regularly report on their health.
Requirements
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network administration roles.
Solid knowledge of network systems, firewalls, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware ESXi).
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortigate, and Unifi networking equipment.
Familiarity with Windows server environments and Microsoft enterprise services.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam).
Good documentation and communication skills.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified Professional).
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, including system administration and troubleshooting.
