To lead and oversee revenue assurance and fraud risk management across the organization by designing data-driven control frameworks, detecting anomalies and fraud patterns, and ensuring the integrity of financial and transactional data. This role bridges operations, finance, and tech to proactively mitigate revenue leakage and safeguard the organization against fraudulent behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the end-to-end Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management (RAFM) strategy, aligning with business, financial, and compliance objectives.
Manage a cross-functional team of analysts and specialists focused on data reconciliation, anomaly detection, and fraud risk mitigation.
Design, implement, and improve automated monitoring systems to detect revenue mismatches, data inconsistencies, and fraudulent behavior.
Collaborate with product, finance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure financial flows are accurate, traceable, and tamper-proof.
Lead investigations into suspected fraud cases, analyzing behavioral patterns using data from Elasticsearch, Kibana, and internal systems.
Oversee the generation of executive-level reports and dashboards, summarizing findings and trends in revenue assurance and fraud risks.
Define and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and data quality metrics related to revenue and fraud exposure.
Proactively assess risk in new product features or process changes, and provide recommendations to strengthen preventive controls.
Own the fraud incident response plan, ensuring proper escalation, documentation, and root cause analysis.
Drive a culture of data integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement across financial and operational systems.
Job requirements:
Proven experience in Revenue Assurance, Risk Management, or Fraud Detection—ideally in fintech, digital payments, or telecom environments.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kibana, and analytical tools for behavioral and transactional analysis.
Proficiency in Python for automation, anomaly detection, and rule-based alerting systems.
Solid understanding of financial operations, accounting processes, and internal controls.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and implementing real-time monitoring or anti-fraud systems.
Familiarity with Data Governance, Reporting Pipelines, and Reconciliation Techniques.
