Some engineers maintain infrastructure. Others automate it. We are looking for the rare kind who examines an entire operational workflow and asks a simple question: why does a human need to touch this at all?
At abrnoc, we are building infrastructure that is intelligent, resilient, and continuously evolving. We want a DevOps engineer who is energised by elegant Kubernetes deployments, clean CI/CD pipelines, modern observability, and the use of AI to move faster, troubleshoot smarter, and eliminate repetitive work entirely.
If AI is already part of how you write scripts, debug issues, analyse logs, respond to incidents, document systems, and optimise infrastructure, you will feel at home here.
Who You Are
You are someone who automates problems before they become routine. You treat repetitive manual work as technical debt, and you have strong opinions about monitoring stacks, deployment strategies, and operational excellence.
You stay calm under pressure. When systems break, you go deep, stay focused, and keep working until the problem is resolved. For you, infrastructure issues are puzzles worth solving, not chores to delegate.
You do not simply keep systems running. You evolve them.
What You Will Do
You will design, automate, and maintain infrastructure across development, staging, testing, and production environments. This is a builder’s role, not a passive maintenance position.
Your work will focus on:
Designing and operating Kubernetes-based platforms at production scale
Building and improving CI/CD pipelines that accelerate delivery
Automating operational bottlenecks and reducing manual toil
Creating reliable monitoring, alerting, and observability systems
Diagnosing complex networking, performance, and infrastructure issues
Managing virtualised and containerised environments
Integrating AI into operational workflows wherever it creates leverage
Continuously improving reliability, security, and scalability across the stack
Requirements
What You Bring
Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production environments
Strong Linux systems administration skills
Solid programming fundamentals and the ability to write clean, maintainable code
Experience with modern observability stacks such as Grafana and Prometheus
A working understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing and switching
Experience with virtualisation technologies such as QEMU/KVM
Familiarity with container tooling such as Podman or equivalent
Active use of AI tools to improve engineering output and decision-making
A calm, focused approach to outages and high-pressure incidents
A strong sense of ownership and a preference for autonomy over micromanagement
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

We are especially interested in engineers who:
Run a homelab or self-host their own services
Benchmark systems out of genuine curiosity
Automate things that no one asked them to automate
Have ever optimised something simply because it bothered them
This Role May Not Be a Fit If You…
Prefer manual workflows and avoid automation
Believe AI has no meaningful role in modern engineering
Need constant supervision or step-by-step direction
Step away when production issues arise
React to problems instead of working to prevent them
Are uncomfortable in fast-moving technical environments
Are not interested in continuous learning and improvement
View DevOps as primarily clicking through dashboards
Prefer predictable, repetitive work over solving difficult infrastructure problems
Are hesitant to take responsibility during critical incidents
Work Location & Schedule:
Type: Full-time, Onsite
Work Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8 AM–5 PM (with 2 hours flexibility)
Location: Fatemi St., Jahad Square, Tehran, Iran
