We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FMCG Planning & Ordering to optimize the management of our product categories. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in warehouse and inventory management within the commercial field and inventory management, forecasting, and strategic purchasing. This role requires a data-driven individual with operational business insights to drive category performance and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse and Inventory Management:
Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
Oversee inventory accuracy and implement measures to minimize waste and deadstock.
Product Forecasting and Ordering:
Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and market demand to create accurate forecasts.
Plan and manage product ordering cycles to ensure availability while minimizing overstock.
Strategic Purchasing:
Identify best sales forecast for promotional items and campaign
Develop procurement strategies to maximize cost efficiency and support marketing/sales initiatives.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Utilize data analytics to provide actionable business insights.
Monitor KPIs such as stock days, zero stock, ATP, Waste
Assortment Refinement:
Evaluate product assortments to ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Identify opportunities for product performance and category optimization.
Stock and Waste Monitoring:
Track and report on stock levels, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts.
Implement strategies to reduce waste and manage deadstock effectively.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sourcing, sales, and operations teams to align category initiatives with overall business objectives.
Partner with suppliers to enhance product offerings and dispatch plan to dark stores.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial engineering or a related field. (Optional)
Proven experience in FMCG category management, with a focus on warehouse and inventory operations.
Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage stock, and waste effectively.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and inventory management systems.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
