| We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Specialist to join Alibaba Group’s legal team In this role, you will support day-to-day legal operations, review contracts, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and provide legal advice to internal stakeholders You will be part of a fast-paced environment, contributing to the safeguarding of the company’s interests while enabling business growth | Job Description |
| Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents Support business units with legal advice on commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that may affect the company Assist in managing corporate governance, including maintaining statutory records Collaborate with external legal counsel when required Support dispute resolution, claims, and litigation processes Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and local regulations Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, reports, or opinions |
Responsibilities |
| Bachelor’s degree in law (master’s degree or LLM is a plus) At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in corporate/commercial law or in-house legal department Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Fluency in English (verbal and written); proficiency in another language is an advantage High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks |
