We are seeking a Manual QA Specialist with strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing manual tests, reporting results, and working closely with our development teams to ensure the successful delivery of our products. While an interest in learning about automation testing is valued, the focus will be on manual testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute Manual Testing and Report Results:
Perform various manual tests, including Integration Testing, System Testing, Acceptance Testing, and Performance Testing.
Document and report testing outcomes, clearly identifying issues and collaborating with the development team to resolve them.
Design Test Scenarios and Cases:
Work with the development team to design detailed and effective test scenarios and test cases.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage for both functional and non-functional aspects of the software.
Collaborate with Development Teams:
Engage closely with developers to understand the software architecture and identify potential areas for testing focus.
Participate actively in Agile development processes, contributing to continuous improvement and ensuring high-quality product delivery.
Utilize Testing Tools:
Use tools like Swagger and Postman for manual API testing and validation.
Apply SQL skills to validate data integrity and perform database-related tests.
Job Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, including functional and non-functional testing.
Experience with different types of testing, such as Integration, System, Acceptance, and Performance Testing.
Proficiency in using testing tools like Swagger and Postman for API testing. (Plus)
Familiarity with SQL for database testing. (Plus)
Basic understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
Interest in learning about automation testing, with a passion for continuous improvement.
