We are seeking a highly skilled Planning & Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence through process optimization, data driven decisionmaking and planning within our organization, with a specific focus on the Fulfillment Center (FC) operations. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities, gather data, analyze complex problems, and provide actionable insights that drive operational efficiencies and strategic decisionmaking.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement advanced optimization models, algorithms, and simulation techniques to solve complex business problems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify optimization opportunities, define project objectives, and develop innovative solutions.
Apply statistical analysis, and data mining methods to extract insights and drive decisionmaking.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the organization and propose innovative solutions.
Prepare periodic reports to management, detailing planning targets vs actuals, analyzing differences, and proposing innovative solutions to address variances.
Create and maintain optimization models using industryleading software and tools.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement and deploy optimization solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, facilitating understanding and informed decisionmaking
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience in applying optimization modeling, mathematical models, and simulation techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R with experience in handling and analyzing large datasets.
Experience with optimization software such as CPLEX, or GAMS.
Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or related data visualization and automated report tools is a plus.
High level of proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to conduct research in English and effectively analyze and synthesize information from academic papers, industry reports, and other sources.
Demonstrated selflearning attitude and motivation to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest advancements in optimization models, algorithms, and data analysis techniques.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
