Typical Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives. Coordinate the procurement process from requisition to purchase order, ensuring timely delivery of products and services. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and inventory levels. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Assist in the preparation of procurement reports for management review. |
Job Description |
| Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. years (2+) of experience in procurement or supply chain roles. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess vendor capabilities and pricing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software. Experience with ERP systems Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CIPS). Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in procurement software and tools for tracking and reporting. Understanding of supply chain principles and practices. Familiarity with contract management software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Proactive problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. |
