DigiExpress is a forward-thinking logistics company scaling its technology platform to support rapid growth and operational excellence. We are looking for a QA Lead to own the quality strategy end-to-end, lead the QA function, and embed quality as a core engineering capability—not a checkpoint at the end of the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the QA strategy and roadmap, aligned with business goals, product maturity, and engineering velocity.
Lead, mentor, and grow the QA team, including performance management, skill development, and workload prioritization.
Establish and continuously improve QA processes, standards, and best practices across manual and automated testing.
Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Designers to define acceptance criteria, quality metrics, and risk-based testing approaches early in the development lifecycle.
Oversee test planning and execution, including test strategies, test cases, regression suites, and release readiness assessments.
Drive test automation adoption and optimization, ensuring scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to identify quality risks, edge cases, and non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, security).
Own defect management and root cause analysis, ensuring issues are tracked, prioritized, resolved, and prevented from recurring.
Review and present QA reports and quality metrics to engineering leadership and stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Ensure high-quality, on-time releases, acting as the quality gatekeeper while balancing speed and stability.
Continuously improve cross-team collaboration, acting as the voice of quality across the organization.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with demonstrated impact in complex software environments.
Proven experience leading or mentoring QA engineers (formal lead/managerial experience is a strong advantage).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD-driven quality practices.
Solid experience with test planning, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle management.
Hands-on exposure to test automation concepts and tools (even if not coding daily).
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a risk-based quality mindset.
Ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively across Engineering, Product, and Management.
Excellent prioritization and project management capabilities in fast-paced environments.
