Job Description |
| Design, implement, and maintain virtualization infrastructure systems including VMware vSphere/vCenter and physical hosts Perform day-to-day operational tasks such as configuration changes, upgrades, patching, and incident troubleshooting Document all infrastructure changes, configurations, and procedures in a clear and organized manner Monitor virtualization and server infrastructure performance and availability using standard monitoring and logging tools Collaborate with other technical teams (Network, DevOps and Security) to ensure stability and scalability Participate in incident response processes, including root cause analysis and preventive action planning Support the implementation of automation and scripting across infrastructure operations (e.g., PowerCLI, Ansible, Terraform) Ensure adherence to security hardening and compliance best practices across infrastructure components Evaluate and test new technologies or solutions to enhance infrastructure reliability and performance Work with VMware virtualization platforms to support and manage enterprise-scale virtualized environments Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration within Infrastructure |
Responsibilities |
| Minimum three years of relevant experience in infrastructure or virtualization engineering Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent documentation skills and change management practices Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams Experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining virtualization platforms, specifically VMware vSphere/vCenter Hands-on experience in managing physical hosts in enterprise environments Good knowledge of Linux systems Working knowledge of Windows Server administration Hands-on experience with backup tools (e.g., Veeam or equivalent) Experience working with enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS) Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Replication concepts Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools Understanding of security principles in virtualization environments, including patching and harden Nice to Have: Experience working in high-availability (HA) environments Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) Familiarity with Git as a version control system Understanding of infrastructure scalability and capacity planning concepts Familiarity with automation of virtualization and server management tasks Exposure to cloud or hybrid-cloud environments |
