As a Technical SRE Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, stability, and operational excellence of TAPSI’s engineering ecosystem. Your work spans two major areas: reliability operations, where you identify reliability gaps, investigate system behavior, support incident handling, and guide teams toward sustainable fixes; and engineering and tooling, where you build software, automation, frameworks, and conventions that elevate reliability across the entire platform. In this role, you will collaborate closely with tribes and infrastructure teams to detect bottlenecks, define standards, and promote reliability-first engineering, with your contributions directly influencing key reliability domains such as CI/CD, resiliency, visibility, observability, and incident management.
Help engineering teams identify reliability gaps, bottlenecks, and systemic issues.
Investigate production problems, analyze system behavior, and guide teams toward sustainable resolution paths.
Build tools, automations, and internal services that increase production reliability across the platform.
Improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines, deployment practices, and release verification workflows.
Enhance visibility through improved metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting systems.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems.
Collaborate closely with tribes and infrastructure teams to align on reliability objectives.
Promote SRE best practices and help evolve TAPSI’s reliability culture.
Strong backend engineering experience (Go, Node.js, Java/Kotlin).
Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and service-to-service communication.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, service meshes (e.g., Istio), and container ecosystems.
Strong debugging, profiling, and performance analysis skills.
Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Elastic, tracing tools).
Familiarity with CI/CD systems and software delivery practices.
Practical experience with persistence layers (MongoDB, PostgreSQL), caching systems (Redis), and distributed data stores (e.g., Hazelcast).
Familiarity with SRE principles and operational best practices.
Experience with incident management workflows.
Previous SRE experience is a strong advantage.
Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on technical approach.
Effective communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
Comfortable working in large-scale, distributed, high-traffic environments.
Experience with ML/AI systems and MLops practices
Background in performance engineering or capacity planning
Experience working in complex, multi-team platform environments
