About the Role:
As a Business Data Analyst, you will closely collaborate with Product, Ad Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to evaluate campaign performance, optimize ad delivery, prepare reports, and support data-driven decision-making across the advertising lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Design, develop, and maintain analytical reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Metabase and other BI tools.
Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to understand analytical needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
Define, monitor, and continuously improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Ad Service business.
Support managerial and executive decision-making by delivering clear, actionable, and insight-driven analyses.
Ensure data quality through validation, cleaning, and contributing to data standardization processes.
Identify opportunities for growth, optimization, automation, and efficiency across products and business processes.
Design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex analytical SQL queries.
Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Requirements:
Up to 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, or related roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
Practical experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc).
High attention to detail with a strong data-driven mindset.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to convert raw data. into actionable insights.
Ability to manage multiple analytical tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
