Job description
We are looking for a Frontend Tech Lead who will take technical ownership of frontend engineering and help shape the future direction of our frontend ecosystem.
In this role, you will drive architectural decisions, define engineering standards, and guide the development of scalable
frontend solutions across multiple products.
You will be responsible for making key technical decisions, balancing short-term product needs with long-term technical sustainability, and contributing to reliable, maintainable, and high-quality user experiences.
You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers, backend engineers, product managers, designers, and other technical leaders to evolve our frontend architecture and development practices.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical direction and guidance to frontend engineers
Own frontend architecture decisions and make key technical choices for products and platforms
Define frontend development standards, patterns, and best practices
Drive frontend modernization initiatives, including migration to modern frontend technologies and improving existing applications
Evaluate and select technologies and approaches for future web and cross-platform mobile applications
Design scalable solutions for complex product requirements
Improve frontend performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer experience
Establish engineering practices that improve code quality, testing, and delivery processes
Review technical designs and code changes while providing constructive feedback
Identify technical challenges and proactively drive solutions
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to make effective technical trade-offs
Job requirements
5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering
Experience acting as a technical owner within a frontend team
Strong track record building production-grade applications with major modern frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue, React, Angular)
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
Strong understanding of frontend architecture, application scalability, and component-based design
Experience making architectural decisions and evaluating technology trade-offs
Experience working with large and evolving frontend codebases
Ability to balance engineering quality, product requirements, and business priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to align technical decisions with different stakeholders
Experience introducing testing strategies and frontend quality practices
AI-Assisted Engineering
We believe AI will significantly influence the future of software engineering. In this role, you will help define how frontend engineers can effectively leverage AI tools.
You will:
Evaluate AI-assisted development tools and workflows
Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity
Encourage effective adoption of AI-powered practices for development, testing, debugging, and documentation
