We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to own and scale our infrastructure operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for system reliability, on-prem deployments, security, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Ownership & Reliability
Own end‑to‑end infrastructure health, availability, and performance
Ensure high uptime, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery readiness
Define and enforce infrastructure standards, best practices, and runbooks
Continuously improve system stability and operational efficiency
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the Infrastructure team
Assign tasks, review work, and ensure accountability
Define daily, weekly, and on‑call responsibilities
Act as escalation point for complex technical and production issues
On‑Premises & Customer Deployments
Own on‑premises deployments for enterprise customers
Plan and execute installation, upgrades, migrations, and support
Ensure deployments are secure, documented, and reproducible
Coordinate with backend and product teams during deployments
Monitoring, Alerting & Incident Management
Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
Define SLIs, SLOs, and incident response processes
Lead incident resolution, post‑mortems, and root‑cause analysis
Reduce MTTR and prevent repeat incidents
Security & Compliance
Ensure infrastructure security best practices (networking, access, secrets)
Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures
Collaborate on compliance requirements where needed
Proactively identify and mitigate infrastructure risks
DevOps & Platform Enablement
Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Work closely with Backend teams to optimize runtime environments
Enable scalable Kubernetes‑based workloads
Balance cost, performance, and reliability
Process & Tooling
Own Infrastructure Jira board and workflows
Create clear documentation, SOPs, and checklists
Introduce automation to reduce manual operational work
Ensure visibility through dashboards and reports
Required Skills
Strong Linux and production Kubernetes experience
Hands-on with Docker, networking, and container orchestration
Monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Experience with databases, backups, and disaster recovery
Leadership experience and strong ownership mindset
Nice to Have
Experience in SaaS or high‑traffic platforms
Experience with multi‑tenant systems
Knowledge of security hardening and compliance
Experience supporting enterprise customers
Familiarity with cost optimization (FinOps)
