| Senior Accountant Specialist | |
| The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing accurate financial reports This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders | Job Description |
| Prepare and oversee the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data Manage the general ledger and ensure timely and accurate postings of transactions Assist with budget preparation and forecasting processes Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management Coordinate and support external audits and tax preparations Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed |
Typical Duties and Responsibilities |
| Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A CPA or CMA certification is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis, is required | Education and Experience |
| Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team |
