Senior Data Analyst
A sharp analytical thinker with strong quantitative, statistical, and problem-solving abilities. Capable of managing end-to-end analytical projects, from scoping and data extraction to modeling, visualization, and presenting insights to stakeholders. Able to translate metrics, research, and trends into actionable recommendations that impact business performance. Design, build, and maintain scalable data analyses and dashboards that inform business decisions across Product, Commercial, Marketing and Operations teams. Perform in-depth analyses on key business metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and anomalies. Develop and validate data models and segmentation logic. Conduct statistical analyses and apply predictive modeling or classic ML algorithms to support decision-making. Partner with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data consistency, quality, and reliable performance of analytical pipelines. Contribute to the evolution of data governance, documentation, and standardization initiatives. Automate recurring analytical processes and reporting pipelines using Python, SQL, and Airflow. Translate insights into clear business narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.⁠	What You’ll Drive Forward
SQL: Expert in writing optimized, analytical, and complex queries. Python: Strong experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation scripting. Statistics & Analytics: Solid grounding in hypothesis testing, regression, correlation, A/B testing, and experiment design. Machine Learning: Familiarity with classic algorithms (Regression, Gradient Boosting, Random Forest, Classification, Clustering, Time Series) and their business use cases. Data Modeling: Knowledge of dimension-fact schema design, DBT, and data warehouse environments. Visualization: Advanced skill in creation of advanced data dashboards and storytelling using Metabase (preferred), Power BI, or similar tools. ETL & Automation: Working knowledge of data workflows and orchestration tools such as Airflow. Data Quality & Governance: Understanding of metrics standardization, source validation, and documentation best practices. Familiarity with large-scale data lakehouse or streaming environments (Kafka, Trino, Spark) is a plus. Ownership and Commitment: Takes full responsibility for analytical projects from definition to delivery, ensuring quality and impact. Collaboration: Works closely with cross-functional teams (Tech, Product, Commercial, Marketing, Finance) to identify analytical needs and deliver actionable insights. Communication: Crafts clear narratives around data findings; adapts tone and content to the audience level (executive, operational, technical). Initiative & Problem-Solving: Anticipates challenges, proposes creative solutions, and improves existing analytical workflows. Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Supports junior analysts through guidance, peer reviews, and sharing analytical best practices.
