Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to operate and improve our on-premises infrastructure and Kubernetes-based application platform. The role focuses on reliability, automation, monitoring, security, and efficient software delivery.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain Linux servers, Docker environments, and Kubernetes clusters.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Automate provisioning, configuration, deployments, and routine operations.
Monitor system and application health using metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerts.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, performance, and availability issues.
Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
Manage capacity, Kubernetes resources, backups, and disaster-recovery procedures.
Apply security practices including patching, access control, secrets management, and system hardening.
Maintain shared services such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure services are deployable, observable, and reliable.
Required Qualifications:
At least three years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a similar operations role.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in Python or shell scripting.
Experience with Ansible or similar configuration-management tools.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, firewalls, load balancing, and reverse proxies.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar observability tools.
Basic operational experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including monitoring, backup, and restore.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with on-premises Kubernetes environments.
Experience with Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, or Flux.
Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ operations.
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing.
Experience with high availability and disaster recovery.
