Software Engineer (ASP.NET)
At Okala, we are looking for a Software Engineer who will design and implement reliable, production-grade software solutions aligned with business needs. In this role, you will contribute across the full development lifecycle, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence. Your work will directly impact system performance, reliability, and long-term architectural quality.	Job Description
Design and implement scalable software solutions aligned with business requirements Develop new services and enhance existing applications within a microservices architecture Translate technical specifications into clean, maintainable application modules Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards Apply best practices in object-oriented design, modular architecture, and data structure optimization Develop, document, and maintain new features, enhancements, and bug fixes Write and maintain unit and integration tests (e.g., XUnit, NUnit) Collaborate within Agile teams and contribute to iterative delivery cycles Identify and resolve technical challenges proactively Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams	Responsibilities
Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience working with CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, NATS) and streaming platforms (Kafka) Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB) Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Elastic APM, Kibana, PMM) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Clear communication skills Ownership mindset and commitment to continuous learning	Requirements
