We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join AzkiSeller’s Software Development team as a Senior Software Test Engineer. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software products through systematic testing, automation, and process improvement. This role involves leading test efforts, mentoring junior QA team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve defects. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in manual and automated testing, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of QA best practices in Agile/DevOps environments.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to define testing parameters, craft test scenarios, and create test cases for diverse software products.
Assist the Production/Development team in tracking down issues and working out the steps to reproduce them to locate and fix the issues.
Review release candidates of the product to test new features and identify potential bugs and defects.
Write up the final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians.
Generate comprehensive test reports for management, promptly reporting identified issues and bugs to the engineering team for resolution.
Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner.
Contribute to and share knowledge of test proficiencies to optimize team effectiveness.
At least 6+ years of experience in a software testing role.
Strong fundamental understanding of Software Engineering principles
Proficient in designing test scenarios and test cases.
Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests using appropriate testing frameworks.
Perform web and API testing using tools such as Postman.
Experience with RESTful APIs and API-based applications.
Experience with testing web applications.
Experience in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
Experience with at least one test automation framework (e.g., Cypress, Playwrite).
Experience with at least one load/stress testing framework (e.g., K6, JMeter).
Ability to code in programming languages like Python or JavaScript.
Familiarity with agile processes and methodologies.
