To plan, establish, and optimize access transmission infrastructure, in line with the defined transmission topology plan and technology capabilities ensuring timely delivery of access capacity with required service levels and alignment of regional developments.
To monitor all MW links’ performance, alarms, MW parameters, availability, and peak up the links with more than 70% utilization.
Education
BSc Degree or Equivalent Technology (Electronic / Telecommunication)
Fluent in English
Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience an access transmission planning, optimization and implementation environment
Experience working in a medium organization
3 years working in Thorough grounding in the requirements of a GSM network in terms of all transmission requirements
Experience in a rapid roll-out environment and management of turn-key vendors
Roles & Responsibilities
To analyze the performance of the access transmission network and multiple turnkey vendors.
To interface with providers of leased capacity to ensure successful operational integration of the access transmission network.
To plan, implement, and optimize Point-to-Point (Microwave, E-Band, V-Band) and Point-to-Multipoint links.
To optimize Access transmission network to enhance its capacity, availability, and performance.
To execute Access network provision, expansion, and optimization through the PDH, SDH, IP/MPLS leased lines, considering radio and managed services requirements.
To plan and optimize physical-connection/cross-connection service of the access transmission network.
To plan to deliver aggregation service creation based on node requirements to meet network requirements.
To oversee and guide the planning, optimization, and implementation programs of turnkey providers (such as delivery of physical connectivity according to topology and access plan) for the regional access transmission network.
To ensure adherence to the appropriate build specification for all microwave and fiber deployments in the access network.
To ensure highly available access transmission routes to maximize network KPIs such as availability, latency, and capacity utilization.
To ensure adherence to the budget for both capital and operational expenditure and provide Opex Saving initiatives.
To design and follow through solutions for problematic sites and follow them till complete resolution.
To collaborate with OSS Planning Engineers to ensure access transmission KPIs, link visibility, and performance monitoring requirements are fulfilled across OSS platforms.
To collaborate with related teams about power consumption of equipment’s, and ensure in any expansion the power requirements are foreseen.
