| Propose, design, and lead data-centric initiatives aimed at advancing the company's strategic goals. Work with data on transactions, users, and merchants, including analysis and any pre-processing that might be needed. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, impactful visualizations and develop business intelligence (BI) dashboards to present key metrics and trends. Gather, integrate, and refine data from diverse sources. Select and apply sophisticated statistical methods to derive actionable insights, including experimental design and hypothesis testing. Develop and implement data mining/machine learning models to identify patterns and trends in the data, which may include association rule mining, sequential pattern mining, and anomaly detection. Communicate the results of your analysis to stakeholders in a way that they can understand and use to make business decisions. Draft and present clear, non-technical reports detailing the achievements and limitations of each project. Provide data-backed recommendations that enhance the efficiency of achieving business objectives. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data science. Master's degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, data mining, and statistics. A strong working knowledge of Python is essential. Experience with statistical tests, probability distributions, and sampling. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
