| At Miare, we are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to take a leading role in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. This role goes beyond reporting and requires strong ownership in building financial models, analyzing business performance, and supporting high-impact decision-making. You will work closely with Finance and cross-functional teams to translate business drivers into financial outcomes, develop forward-looking analyses, and bring clarity to complex and evolving data. |
About the Role |
| Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Own and drive variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget / Forecast) with clear, actionable insights. Translate operational metrics into financial impact and identify key drivers of revenue, cost, and profitability. Lead forecasting processes, including rolling forecasts and scenario-based planning. Conduct sensitivity analyses to evaluate financial risks and business trade-offs. Prepare high-quality management reports, including P&L, cash flow, and key financial KPIs. Work closely with operational teams to challenge assumptions, validate inputs, and improve data quality. Support strategic and operational decision-making through structured financial analysis. Continuously improve financial models, reporting structure, and planning processes. |
Responsibilities |
| This role requires a strong combination of financial modeling expertise, analytical depth, and business understanding. The ideal candidate can work with ambiguity, build models from imperfect data, and connect financial analysis to real business decisions. You are expected to challenge assumptions, not just report numbers. | Role Complexity |
| 4–6 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, or similar analytical roles. Proven hands-on experience in building financial models (not just using or maintaining them). Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and their interdependencies. Ability to connect business operations and metrics to financial performance. Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (modeling, scenario building, data structuring). Experience with SQL or data/BI tools is a strong plus. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and take ownership of analysis. Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. |
Requirements |
| Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities. Business-oriented mindset with the ability to interpret data in context. Ability to break down complex problems into structured analyses. High ownership and accountability. Clear and concise communication of insights. Preferred Skills Experience in fast-paced or startup environments. Familiarity with unit economics, cost drivers, and operational KPIs. Experience with scenario-based planning and decision support. Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau). |
Skills |
| Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. |
Education |
| Location: Miare Headquarters – Sharif Innovation Station (Tarasht, Tehran). This is a full-time, on-site position. Flexible working hours. Fast-paced, and autonomous environment with direct exposure to business decision-making. Free supplementary health insurance. Eligibility for Knowledge-Based Company military service exemption (after one year). |
