If you know software engineering principles inside out and you love turning complicated requirements into clean, high-quality, and maintainable systems, then this is the job for you. What makes a Technical Lead in Karnameh? Avoiding major pitfalls and managing technical debt is what we expect from our Tech Leads. You have built and shipped software systems so many times that you can foresee how a design decision made today will impact the business a year from now. We need our Tech Lead to be collaborative, self-directed, and product-minded. Our main challenge is handling complex business logic across different areas, so fast-changing requirements don't frustrate you—you adapt quickly. You understand that an MVP needs speed over perfect code, but you also know when it's time to build a solid, scalable system. You love breaking down complicated requirements into clean software architecture, setting technical standards, and mentoring other engineers, while always knowing how to prioritize when plans change. How you will be doing here? Our backend ecosystem is primarily built on Python and Django, structured into a modern microservices architecture. We use a variety of SQL and NoSQL data stores, robust logging systems, and advanced data pipelines to handle complex business domains. On the frontend, we utilize React and Next.js, and we use tools like Docker and Kubernetes within our infrastructure stack. As a Tech Lead, you won't be working in a silo. You will act as the technical bridge, working closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and DevOps. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional business teams to ensure our technical solutions perfectly align with our product goals. |
Job description |
| Holding a BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or having equivalent practical experience. Deep experience with Python and Django in production environments. Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture, data isolation, and inter-service communication. Strong hands-on experience with SQL databases (especially PostgreSQL). Familiarity with NoSQL data stores, caching systems, and data analytics tools (such as Redis, Elasticsearch, or ClickHouse). Proficient with Git, CI/CD workflows, and comfortable navigating Linux environments. Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to collaborate with Product, DevOps, Frontend, and non-technical stakeholders (Marketing/Finance). Familiarity with Kubernetes, frontend concepts (React/Next.js), or workflow automation tools like n8n. Hands-on experience in integrating AI solutions into software products or leveraging AI to optimize engineering and business processes (Not as an AI Engineer, but as a practical software developer). |
